The experience

Bubblemaker is PADI's introduction for children: scuba gear sized for them, a maximum depth of two metres, and an instructor in the water for the whole session. It is not a certification — it is a first breath underwater in controlled conditions.

PADI's minimum age for Bubblemaker is 8. Everything is supervised, the depth limit is fixed by the standard rather than by the day, and a child who decides they would rather not is under no pressure to continue.

Equipment sized for children and the instructor are included. A parent or guardian must be present. Because this is a children's programme, every booking is arranged by enquiry so we can confirm ages and group size first.
