The experience

The boat is the point: a wooden, tall-masted sailing vessel rather than a standard fibreglass day boat, with open deck, rigging overhead and room to spread out on the crossing.

The route runs out to Orange Bay with guided snorkelling stops on the reef, and mask, fins and a life jacket provided on board. Lunch is served during the day along with water and soft drinks.

There is time ashore on the Orange Bay sandbank, where the shallows stay calm. A mandatory island fee is payable locally in cash and is not collected online.
